Our shop minimum is $150, however the cost of your tattoo will vary depending on the size, detail and time it will take. The best thing to do is to pop in to the shop or book a consultation with the artist of your choice.

Consultations are free! To book contact your preferred artist, call or email the shop.

If you have a specific artist in mind it’s best to contact them directly by emailing or DMing them on instagram. You can also email us on aucklandtattoostudio@gmail.com. We are happy to help with any questions you might have. From there you can book a consultation (if needed). At the consultation we will chat through your ideas and come up for a great tattoo concept. If you already have an existing image that you would like to get tattooed, send an image of it to us, we should be able to give you a rough quote.

Yes, you will be required to pay a deposit at the time of booking. We take a deposit of $100 (sometimes more depending on the project). Your deposit will be deducted from the total price of your tattoo. Deposits are non-refundable. If you need to cancel or move your appointment we require at least 72 hours notice or your deposit will be forfeited. If you don’t have a date in mind to move your appointment to we can keep your deposit as shop credit for you until you can book another appointment.

If you don't show up to your appointment your artist does not get paid. Deposits are there to protect the artists from no-shows and last minute cancellations. Failure to notify us more than 72 hours before your appointment will result in the loss of your deposit. If you want to rebook for a later date a new deposit will have to be paid.

We are open 7 days, 10am till 6pm. However our artists each have differing availability.

Be on time for your appointment. It's best if you've had a good nights sleep and eaten a substantial meal before getting tattooed. Please let your artist know if you’re not feeling well or have any concerns. Feel free to bring snacks with you to your appointment, something sugary will make you feel better after your tattoo.

We are located at 64 Ponsonby Road, right across the road from Western Park. The shop is purple, you can’t miss us!

You don’t always need to have an appointment, we usually have someone available to do walk ins. However if you are wanting to book with a specific artist on a certain date it’s best to make an appointment.

To get a tattoo you need to be 18+. We do not tattoo anyone under 18 years old.

Our minimum charge is $150.00. This cost covers our minimum sterile set up, supplies, as well as wages for the artist. We strive to always have the highest possible quality supplies, tools, the utmost cleanliness and professional skill.

If you can no longer make your appointment please notify us 72 hours (minimum) before your appointment. Your deposit can be transferred to a new appointment. Deposits for appointments cancelled and rescheduled within 72 hours will be forfeited and you’ll need to pay a new one.

There are many different way to heal a tattoo. Your new tattoo will be covered with either plastic wrap or second skin. Please follow the aftercare instructions given to you by your artist.
