Rusty Vibes

I grew up in west Auckland. From a young age I was fascinated by tattoos and as a child would often peep into the window of Auckland Tattoo Studio.

I worked for years in hospitality. In one of those hospo jobs I worked on Ponsonby Road where Braden and I became friends. I later met Gareth when he moved to Auckland and established a strong relationship with Auckland Tattoo Studio. As fate would have it that's where I was given my chance to take a shot in the tattoo world and the rest is history!
I am ATS’s only official apprentice since its doors opened in 1970 (I have since finished my apprenticeship).

I have an overwhelming t-shirt collection, 300 of them are classed as vintage (20+ years old). My oldest shirt is as old as this shop (54 years)!

I have been sober for many years. It helps keep the chaos under control and my extreme schedule of show attendance in check!
